BEFORE & AFTER – The Intimate Story of a Collection

During a walk through their sculpture park in Provence, Anne and Wolfgang Titze — she Parisian, he Viennese — unravel the thread of a unique story: the meeting of two universes and two cultures which, far from contradicting each other, have found a creative harmony in their differences.

Their distinct paths in life — Wolfgang passionate about music, Anne in love with words — converge in this remarkable collection of contemporary art, which is far more than a mere accumulation of works: it is a true artistic symphony. Each piece acquired by the two over more than three decades speaks not only of their shared passion, but also of the subtle dialogue between their respective sensibilities.

Nosferatu, the Vampyre

The second presentation of the evening will be Nosferatu, the Vampyre (1979), directed by Werner Herzog. Herzog’s interpretation – both homage and reimagining of Murnau’s silent original and Bram Stoker’s Dracula – unfolds as a meditation on plague, solitude, and the slow encroachment of the night. With Klaus Kinski in the role of Count Dracula, the film remains one of the most enduring cinematic treatments of vampirism and gothic horror.
